The third racket of the world, Danish Caroline Wozniacki, beat the Swede Johanna Larsson, who occupies the 77th line of the WTA rating, with a score of 6/1, 6/3 in the second round of the Australian Open.
The meeting lasted 1 hour and 6 minutes. During this time, 28-year-old Wozniacki completed three aces, never made a mistake in filing and implemented four break points, and 30-year-old Larsson once let through, made two double mistakes and did not make a single break.
Previously, athletes with each other have not met. Wozniacki’s next rival in Melbourne will be either Russian Maria Sharapova or Swedish Rebecca Peterson.
