French tennis player Gael Monfils had a good year in 2020. He managed to win two tournaments at the beginning of the year, in Montpellier and Rotterdam. In an interview with We love tennis, he revealed few details about his plans for next season.
“I want to get back in the top 10 and perform at a high level like I did in early 2020. I want to play consistently and improve my results. Sure, the ATP 500 and 250 tournaments are great, but I want to make it to the Masters finals and win. And why not get past the semifinals at Grand Slam tournaments.
Training is going great, there’s no excitement. But you need to play with the same feeling during the matches and make the right decisions.”
