Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov told how he feels after the coronavirus has been moved.
“To be honest, I came to France without any expectations. I haven’t trained for a long time and now I try to just focus on the competition format and have fun. Obviously, I can’t fight at the highest level right now. I am starting to move better, everything seems to be going in the right direction, but it is still difficult to recover.
Obviously, I’m far from my best form. I haven’t played tennis in over a month. It was hard for me because of the coronavirus, I stayed home for about a month and it’s hard for me to come back.
As for the resumption of the season, I try to do my best to prepare for the tournaments every day. Tired or not, I try to move on. Some days I feel really great, I can train for four hours. But suddenly, wherever you come from, I need to disconnect from everything and just sleep or rest. I need to get through this. I hope that I will fully recover,” Dimitrov was quoted by Tennis Majors.
