Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal commented on his victory in semifinal at the US Open, and also shared his expectations from the confrontation with Russian Daniil Medvedev.
“In the first set, I acted not in the best way. The opponent led by a big advantage, but I was lucky. I managed to get out of a difficult situation, and after that the nature of the duel changed. I began to play more calmly and attack more often. I am glad to play again in the finale of the US Open.
Daniil is progressively moving forward. He played great this summer, won in Cincinnati, reached the final of Washington and Montreal. It was Medvedev who recently showed the best tennis in the Tour, so this is the hardest opponent for the finale.
