Czech tennis player Karolina Pliskova overcame the barrier of the second round of Wimbledon, beating Monica Puig from Puerto Rico – 6/0, 6/4.
The match lasted 1 hour. The third racket of the world, 27-year-old Karolina, recorded four breaks and nine aces. 25-year-old Puig, who occupies the 52nd position in the world classification, once took a rival’s pitch, made one ace and three double mistakes.
Czech remains the leader in the personal meetings of athletes – 5: 0.
In the third round of the tournament, Pliskova will play with Hsieh Su-Wei.
