Japanese tennis player Kei Nishikori broke the barrier of the 1/8 final of Roland Garros, beating the Frenchman Benoit Paire – 6/2, 6/7 (8), 6/2, 6/7 (8), 7/5.
The match lasted 3 hours and 55 minutes. The seventh ATP rating number, Kei, 29, made ten breaks and three aces, making the wrong mistake six times. 30-year-old Benoit, occupying the 38th line of the world table of ranks, five times took the submission of an opponent, made eight aces and 15 double errors.
The Japanese remains the leader in the personal meetings of the players – 7: 2. In the quarterfinals of the tournament Nishikori will play with Rafael Nadal.
