The ninth racket of the world, Ukrainian Elina Svitolina, beat the American Venus Williams, who occupies the 52nd line of the WTA rating, with a score of 6/3, 6/3 at the start of the Roland Garros.
The meeting lasted 1 hour and 13 minutes. During this time, 24-year-old Svitolina never filed a word through, made three double faults and made seven breaks, and 38-year-old Williams completed one ace, made a mistake three times in filing and implemented four breaks.
