The third racket of the world, Swiss Roger Federer, beat the Italian Lorenzo Sonego, who occupies the 73rd line of the ATP rating, with a score of 6/2, 6/4, 6/4 at the start of the Roland Garros.
Tennis players spent on the court 1 hour 41 minutes. During this time, the 37-year-old Federer completed five aces, twice made a mistake in the pitch and sold five break points, and the 24-year-old Sonego filed three times and made one break.
This was the first official meeting of the athletes. In the second round of the French Open, Federer will cross the rackets with the German Oscar Otte.
