The national team of Romania defeated the Czech team in the quarterfinals of the “Federation Cup”. In the third match, Simona Halep took over Karolina Pliskova – 6/4, 5/7, 6/4. Then Katerina Siniakova equalized the score, beating Mihaela Buzarnescu, – 6/4, 6/2. The final victory for the Romanians was brought by Irina-Camelia Begu and Monica Niculescu, who beat Siniakova and Barbora Krejcikova – 6/7 (2), 6/4, 6/4. Thus, the score in the opposition of the Czech Republic and Romania became 2: 3. Romania national team became the semifinalist of the tournament.
