Petra Kvitova not cope with Venus Williams in Indian Wells

The third racket of the world, Czech Petra Kvitova, lost to American Venus Williams, who occupies 36th place in the WTA ranking, with a score of 6/4, 5/7, 4/6 in the second round of the BNP Paribas Open tournament.

The match lasted 2 hours and 27 minutes. During this time, 29-year-old Kvitova completed ten aces, made a mistake ten times when serving and sold four break points, and 38-year-old Williams never served  through, made four double mistakes and made five breaks.

Previously, the score in personal meetings was 5: 2 in favor of the Czech. The next opponent Venus in Indian Wells will be her compatriot Christina McHale.
