French tennis player Lucas Puille commented on reaching the quarterfinals of the Australian Open.
“I want to diversify my game and become more stable, especially on the back line. We need to be able to endure in order to wait for the moment. We do a lot of this, and today I did it. It’s great to reach the Slam quarter-finals again. This is what I strive for.
We worked a lot in the off-season and even at the beginning of this season, and the work is bearing fruit. The tournament is not finished yet, but I am already happy with what I achieved here, and now I will tune in for the next match. To beat such a rival as Coric, you need to show good tennis.
I am sure that I can play much better, but now I’m on the right track and will continue to work, ”the Tour press service quotes Puille.
